It’s possible to be a parent and go to business school at the same time, though it’s not easy. Working and with kids, and with no one at home to support you? That’s much, much trickier; top schools don’t even recommend that students with no family obligations work, at least for their first semester. If there’s absolutely no way you can justify taking out enough loans, look at part-time programs and go through slowly: no more than a couple of classes a semester until you’re sure you can handle it. It’ll still be tough, but there’s a better chance you’ll be able to avoid going insane.
